My main problems are:

1. Side bending
2. Neck carving
3. Plate joining
4. Rosettes
5. Binding
6. Purfling
7. Bridges
8. Brace shaping
9. End Grafts
10. Fingerboards
11. Fretting
12. Nuts
13. Strap pin installation
14. Final setup
15. Intonation
This describes me. I started with no woodworking experience... none. I know I'm capable of turning out the "perfect" guitar, but somewhere along the way I get into my way. So for me, I know I can do it I just need to focus and settle for nothing less than apparent perfection.

In this regard I see building as a journey of self improvement, not just guitar improvement.

Anthony, not only Larry is a riot but thank heavens that his jokes are not bullets from a machine gun, we'd all be long dead by now!

haha. If you think about it, if we all built perfect instruments everytime, how boring would that be?

MOVING !!!!!!!!!! thats my problem, just had everything set up in NY, and got started on my first after a very nice completed dulcimer. Then I moved to NC, Had to take all of my shop and my garage stuff and fit it into a smaller garage then I had before.Added a 500 lb table saw . Put up lots of shelves. Plus I had to build a new bench.. Well thats done, built a neck, carved a top for an archtop and jointed the back. Built my bending form, and added a few more jigs. Now I'm moving AGAIN, just 7 months later !! Some day I'll settle into a nice shop and get this thing started.. In the mean time I'll just read OLF everyday to keep motivated and my spirit up. Thanks for that guys.
